### So here is the detailed Description how to use this Mod.###

The most important thing you should know is that you have to sit inside the Truck for most of the functions to be executed.

For example to switch extras on the Trailer, also the Trailer has to be attached to the Truck...

Otherwise the Trailer doors will open allways no matter if you are in the Truck or not - as long as you are in the Truck + Trailer submenu, the trainer usually should tell you what to do, just keep an eye on the bottom of the screen.

### Spawn a Trailer:

IMPORTANT! You should spawn/attach/detach the Trailer only on flat/even ground !!

Before spawning a Trailer make sure you have 1 and a 1/2 Trailer length of free space behind your Truck, in this area shouldn't be any obstacles or cars, only even ground.

otherwise your Truck might get crunched.

### Attach / Detach the Trailer:

IMPORTANT! You should spawn/attach/detach the Trailer only on flat/even ground !

To attach the Trailer just drive under the front of the Trailer with the rear of the Truck - same as in the real world.

If the optic help (Main menu) is active the white light above the Trailer turns into green, now you can hit "Attach" in the Truck & Trailer menu or just press "+" on the NUMPAD.

The Trailer is now connected to your Truck and will be lined up with your Truck automatically - remember that!

To detach the Trailer just hit this function or "-" on NUMPAD, the landing gear goes down and the Trailer will be disconnected and freezed.

### Trailer Features:

The Trailer does have a switchable landing gear (Extra 1 & 2) those are just for this purpose so you can't switch them in the menu.

But there are two more Extas, #3 is the Light Kit and #4 is a Ramp to drive cars into the Trailer.

you won't be able to mount the cars inside the Trailer and drive them arround, i keep working on this...

The Trailer does have a very unique collision model that allows you to move the camera mostly free arround the Truck even with the Trailer attached,

i realised this by using door and boot collision for side and front wall of the Trailer.

with a collision just made out of chassis pieces the camera allways would hit the Trailer, and thats some serious bullshit.

Due to this fact you should turn godmode allways on or the collision might cause problems.

also you will be able to drive through under the Trailer as long as your car has a very low profile and you don't hit the landing gear or the axles.

i'm still not finished, you also can change the texture variation, there are 4 available.

you also can create your own, a template named Willard_sign_X_Template.png will be included in the package.

### Mount Cars on a Trailer:

In v1.1 you are now able to mount up to 6 cars on a Trailer, and this is how you do it:

Mark all cars you want to attach with a different number, for example you have three cars, mark them as #1, #2 and #3 while you are in the

Car you want to assign a number to. Now drive #1 on the Trailer and choose #1 to attach it on the Trailer, same with #2 and #3.

You can also warp yourself into the cars you assigned with a number.

Detach the cars from the Trailer can be tricky in some case.

Best way is to warp into the car you want to detach and don't hit the throttle unless the car is detached!

Also might work this, hold down the throttle fwd. or rev. and then hit detach for this car.

!!! WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T DO !!! is to just tip the throttle (you see the wheels fall down a bit) and after this hit detach <- this causes a weird behavior of the car.

### Informations for Car creators:

If you are planing to create some Trucks or Trailers you have to take a look into my car files, they are not locked.

take a close look at the collision, dummies and pivot points - especially for the chassis and bodyshell parts, feel free to use my setup as a template.

Also don't forget the handling and the other files, the Trucks need to have a harder suspension and of course more power to handle the extra weight of the Trailer,

the Trailers shouldn't appear in traffic if you followed the instructions in the README, at least i haven't seen one during the whole testing sessions.

If you don't know what to do go for some help or better leave it to the ones who have some experience in GTA IV Carmodding.

otherwise if you need some special functions included in the Trainer for your created vehicles, send me a Message on youtube: www.youtube.com/NCTRenegade

Please don't write somewhere in the comments.

Hopefully the GTA Site Admins will create a new section for Trailers and don't put them into the "Other" department.

So if you did build a Trailer, ask on upload for a Trailer sectionif there is none.

### Even more features

If you press "I" and "L" ( "^" and "N" on Laptops ) at the same time the Truck and Trailer menu turns into advanced mode.

Once the advanced menu is activated go back to "Main" menu and save the options there and you get the advanced menu right from every startup.

The advanced mode allows you to connect all the big Trucks and a few cars together, provided you changed these cars with Trucks and Trailers made for this mod.

because there are so many different Truck sizes i needed to include a adjustable pivot point.

adjust the values for your modified Truck and save it, these values should load automatically whenever you enter the same type of Truck.

i also included the bus and the Firetruck in order to see some articulated buses or a tiller ladder in the future. ;)

btw: while in a bus, press tab :D
